New Years Day Sale finds

Well et m start by telling you a little story. I couldn't sleep the night of new year's eve or at all during the early morning of New Years day so I left a little early to walk to goodwill. It was freezing, I was tired, but I still walked there t find out they were opening 2 hours later then usual. It was New Years Day so everywhere was closed So I sat out waiting for an hour before I realized the car part store in the same plaza was open. I spent an hour in there and only walked out with  candy bar.
I then continued to good will where I was told they didn't have enough jewelry to make new jars so I grabbed the only one I knew little about only because it was half off and It had a cameo which  knew had potential to be valuable. I also for the first time outside of buying a friend a necklace once bought jewelry outside of jars.  I bought 2 pins which I'll posting below....and apologies in advance, there is no picture of the jar because my mother wanted to see what I got immediately when I got home.
Also, wanted to let you know what I listed on eBay has 3 days left and I already have over $90 in bids. Adding in the Pandora bracelet and some other pieces I already sold I am already in the profit margin with plenty of my high end pieces yet t be listed.

The Two Pins I Bought Separate

This pin was marked $10, 1/2 off, 14kt gold plated and real pearls

Austria signed rhinestone bird pin 1.99, 1/2 off, valued $25

What Was In The Jar (cost $15)

Sterling silver Italy also marked BA

I actually found an almost exact copy of this bracelet on eBay
It is sterling silver and mother of pearl valued $18
This is the cameo I found looing at the jar
marked Wedgwood made in England, this particular piece was made in the 1950's one of the only known periods a pink color was used. It is valued between $50 and $80
Sorry about the lack of lighting my camera was dieing

Sadly that' all the reasonable valued things I found in he jar beside a complete necklace, earring, bracelet set and a vintage silver and rhinestone choker necklace. The good thing is the Wedgwood cameo pin alone was valued  6x more then the cost of the jar so though there wasn't much I still made great profit.

Well, until next time,

The Christmas Miracle Jars

Hello my little hunters. This post is kind of super late but it's because I kind of went all out during the goodwill Christmas sale. I originally bought 1 jar because when I first went the jars weren't that good but, when I found like 6 mismatched pairs of sterling silver earrings I couldn't help but go back and buy another jar in hopes I could finish the pairs.... sadly I only completed 1 pair but on the upside the second jar was huge and had some pretty good surprises. Which, is the reason this is being posted so late. So much stuff to organize and research.

Before I get to the jars.
anyone have information on these Irving oil limited promotional cups?

Jar #1 cost $15 since it was on sale 1/2 off

I don't know I you can tell but the pile to the far right is the good stuff.

And these are all the sterling silver single earrings

Jar #2 cost $20 originally $40
If you look near the top right you can see a Diane Gilman keychain worth $12

Just below the large faux pearls you can see a Chanel Tag worth $60

So, now that I know just 1 item can basically pay of the jars, I am happily willing to buy them.

Now, I was going through these jars wen I found

A real Pandora bracelet 7" worth at least $35
A real Pandora bead.

Actually 2 real Pandora bead which were traded for approx. $40 in stuff

But, that's not all I found.

A sterling silver size 8 Disney ring (possible diamond)
Matching grey pearl necklace and bracelet (SOLD$35)
Sterling silver size 9+
sterling silver size 9+

Vintage 1993 Avon discontinued heart and key necklace ($20)

 Celestial charm bracelet (SOLD $5)

There were so many other great things I got like a black lu coral necklace, a Peter Bram design 14k and pearl pin, and tons of other silver things. Sadly since I do need to sell everything I've been busy separating all the stuff and researching it so, I apologize. I will be doing another post later this week with the stuff from the jar I bought today which had another great surprise. Well, a few surprises I'm excited to tell you but, sadly after that I need a little time to sell off some of my items to clear out some room and possibly buy a camera and start up the second part of the blog, the video part.

Well see you all soon,
                                 Jason :)

Just Bought My Most Expensive Jewelry Jar Yet.

Hello again blogging universe, In celebration of starting this blog I went down to Good Will To buy a new mystery jewelry jar and do you know what's funny? after what seems like ages they finally put a new one in the case and it was in a fairly large and had a price tag to match. I was going in planning on getting the $30 jar that I'd been eyeing for a couple weeks but how could I resist a brand new jar at almost twice the usual size (I should've expected twice the junk in it.) Anyways, the jar was $40 which for a college bound kid who can't seem to find a job, it's basically all the money I had... actually it was more then I had. The cashier at the time was kind and gave me the nickel I was short on and wished me a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on my way out. If Karma exists I hope it comes back to him more then 10 fold. Well without further ado, here are the photos.

#1The Jar
I thought I'd start by showing some angles of the jar, see anything good?

#2 The Junk
Of course not everything in these jars is good, here is a whole pile of junk (might use some for art projects/jewelry making)
Yeah, it was probably half the jar.

#3 Some of the nicer things
Either bone or some kind or stone, defiantly not plastic or glass

All this has is a label "Made In India"
My sister use to have a million of these as a kid.
once again either bone or stone
 Magnetic clasp
 Seashell

 Aren't glass beads pretty?

All of these were hand made by someone, are you the artist?

There were a lot more chains and cords then usual.

#4 My Favorites
More specifically the dice pendant piece
I love the colors and the copper piece on the bottom reminds me of ancient civilizations.
Why is it every pocket watch I get has a broken face? (top right corner)
At least It has a nice etching and is valued around $10-$20

I love this because the other side is a mirror
I like this space age looking watch.
 valued $65 :D
 Valued $45 :D
 Valued $5

Can't find Remex really anywhere.... sorry the picture is upside down.

Valued $5-$18 I think this vintage whistle is kind of cool...and heavy.

That's a real crystal in the middle.
One of my favorite things to find is Sterling silver or pearls... the clasp on this is sterling silver and yet again I've found real pearls... Alas, this is the first one I've owned knotted like this.

Oh, and can't forget this guy, my childhood memories in a nutshell. I put it on immediately after it's discovery.

So, see any pieces you really liked? know any information on a piece that I didn't list?(especially some of those watches) Want to share a story of your own finds? Well be sure to comment below, I'm really looking forward to feed back since I'm new at this whole thing.

Well, until next time keep searching for that ultimate Treasure,
